I have just discovered the joy of body lotion.... seriously. We live in a very dry climate yet I only used hand cream on my hands when they were uncomfortably dry. But I recently started using body lotion after a shower and my skin has never felt so soft. Even the next morning before I shower again... it's still so soft :) I still need hand cream as I wash my hands so often during the day but the rest of my body feels like silk LOL.
My body lotion of choice is Lubriderm. It comes in a large container with a pump for use at home. You can also get smaller containers for when you are on the road. And they even have little wee containers in the travel/trial section of the drug store that are perfect for keeping in your purse.

LOL, yup body lotion is the best. Try applying it IN the shower. Some of it rinses off but not much and you get super soft skin. :-)
Oh my, I could have told you this! I live by body lotion, because my skin gets so itchy. I use Aveeno, and I just love it. I also use Glaxal Base, which I get from the pharmacy, because it has no additives. It's the cream they use as a base for medicated creams. Welcome to a whole new world Vicky!
