Seriously, how hard is it to be polite?

Yesterday Vince & I were walking into Tim Hortons. He reached the door first and held it open for me but as I was about to walk through 2 women walked out of the same door chatting with each other but didn't say thank-you to Vince for holding the door open for them. This is my absolute biggest pet peeve because it is SOOOOOOO rude and costs them absolutely nothing to be polite and say thank-you in passing. So as I passed them to walk through the doorway I said "you're welcome!". I honestly don't think they clued in to why I said that but it sure made me feel better. I know it's rude to point out someone else's rudeness but I also think some people need a lesson in manners.

I am forever getting frustrated with people who have NO manners . . . it's rampant in today's world! I feel your pain!

Good for you for pointing out their rudeness. People like that bug me too.

Dear Diary,

Today I was at Tim Hortons. I enjoyed a lovely Iced Capp (boy my thighs are exploding, I should stop drinking them and move to exlax).

As I was leaving, this nice gentleman was holding the door open for two other very sexy ladies. They were in an interesting discussion about Angelina Jolie's pregnancy. I didn't feel right listening to the conversation because I thought I may join and convince them that Angelina is actually a robot.

I walked right through the door that a nice gentleman was holding open for them. He was very handsome. I wish my husband had a bald head just like that.

Later, I saw them in the parking lot and the one woman was very rude to me. I guess I had forgotten to thank the man. If it wasn't for her sexy body, I would have punched her out for being that rude to me.
